附上老道林的心得報告 jc883兄或有人要幫忙翻譯嗎? 派大米喔
FROM BASEL, my meeting with Rolex
Hi All;
This is going to seem like pretty disjointed ramblings, so I hope you can make some sense of it.
1 The dial on the Green Submariner is Green Gold, the gold is made in the SP_company's own foundry and the way they make it green is by the addition of aluminium to the alloy. I know it seems strange that adding a grey metal to a yellow one produces green, but stranger things have happened.
2 The new Submariners have the same lume as the SDDS, called Chromalite which is around 3 times more luminous than Luminova, and, like the SDDS it glows blue.
3 Whilst the new Submariners have the simplified glidelock clasp, RSCs can add the extension piece as used in the SDDS if the owner wishes to use a heavy diving suit.
4 UK prices including 17.5% VAT are £4,610 for the black Sub and £4,910 for the green one.
5 Deliveries will start in July for the UK
6 The obligatory wrist shots
7 The new 39mm Explorer has a new calibre, the 3132, which is larger in diameter than the 3130 in the previous model, it now has both Parachrome hairspring & Paraflex shock protection, like the SDDS.
8 I think that moving the model name from the top to the bottom of the dial really 'butches up' the watch, moving it from the Datejust camp to the sports watch camp. YMMV.
9 UK price for the Explorer is £3,580 including 17.5% VAT.
This is part one of my report, part two will follow as soon as I return from my dinner with a new watch brand.
