神秘的莳绘 (maki-e) 是自古代日本的传统漆器装饰工艺。
这个系列象征了人类的冒险精神，是探索未知的“远方”的过程。
而这层象征意义也预示着Vacheron Constantin与象彦合作的创新性，预示着腕表制作与传统装饰工艺相交融的
无限可能性。

第一款：“松与鹤”

忠于Métiers d’Art艺术大师系列的精神，“symbolique des laques 莳绘”腕表系列将于3年内分别推出不同主题的腕表，每一年均推出一套3枚的全新腕表，限量20套。

第二款：“竹与雀”

每一套腕表均有着不同的主题，其中包括有撷取自庞大而意义深远的远东传统艺术宝库。每一款设计构思来自动物、植物或矿物；它们本身蕴含某种意义，亦或与其它相融：神物或历史英雄人物配以动物、动物与植物的结合、植物与虚构或抽象特质的结合等等。这些设计源于文学著作、诗词或传说等各种素材。

第三款：“梅与莺”

在腕表制作方面，Vacheron Constantin精选了 1003 型号，14K 白金镂空超薄机械机心。为了突出腕表的和谐感及精巧的莳绘工艺，Vacheron Constantin甚至采用镀钌处理，使金的自然光泽变得更为柔和，营造出高贵优雅的效果。蓝宝水晶玻璃则让人可以欣赏精美绝伦的装饰图案，尤其能一目了然地欣赏到品牌在日内瓦厂房完成的斜面切割工艺。

与此同时，圆形表壳的简洁线条流露出含蓄和纯净的感觉，与“Métiers d’Art La symbolique des laques 莳绘”腕表系列当中的禅意相呼应。
