he 2010's Steel Edition ...
Per tradition, the Racing Mille Miglia steel Watch, the limited quantity issued is equal to the calender year, thus this edition is limited to 2010 pieces.
Case is at 44mm. Subdials arranged in different quadrants/halves (as compared to the 1999 version). Still the same more useful timing period -
the 30-min-counter (at 12H), small-second (at 9H) and the 12-hour-counter (at 6H).
The hands are rhodium-plated except for the small-second-hand which is in red.
Hour-indexes and both the minute and hour hands are with SuperLuminova.
Second-side printing for the 12H and 6H on the super clear, double anti-reflective coated sapphire crystal.
The perlage on the dial at this angle looks different, and quite nice. The outer circumference seemed to be 'raised'.
The date magnifier (cyclop) is a good work-around, instead of the usual bulge, it is pretty pleasing to the eyes, with a reverse convex.
Movement is a decorated Valgrange A07.211 with a power reserve of 46 hours and COSC certified.
The serial number instead of engraved onto the caseback. it is now 'water-marked' on the second-su**ce of the caseback sapphire.
Now, the 2010's Rose Gold Edition ....
Same construction, with 18K Rose Gold case. Quantity is limited to 250 pieces.
Hands are gold-plated.
18K gold signed crown and pushers.
Gold sapphire-caseback with serial number watermarked.
