Back then, I believe there were buckles that did not have a VC logo on them. They were all sourced from the same buckle manufacturer by VC, PP, and AP.
This is why these buckles all look similar, because they were often exactly the same and interchangeable.
Remember, the Brands considered buckles, crowns, straps, etc. to be disposable parts that would be replaced as needed. Unlike the dial and movement, exact duplicates of components were not stored or made for each watch models inventory when it came to buckles and crowns. They were replaces as needed with an appropriate and availalbe sized piece.
We collectors, obviously want everything to be all original. But remember, the Brands weren't thinking like this back then.
This is why there is not a 100%, infallible, rule about what original buckles had inscribed on them. It changed over time based on customer requirements and supplier decisions...and those cheanged with specific dates or announcements made. These were non-issues to the Brands back then, that we collectors love to research, analyze, and dissect. (This is part of the fun of this hobby, and its definitely a cheaper way to enjoy vintage horology than actually buying several watches!)
至于为什么表扣不打贵金属印记,没有明确答复。 但私下和部分表友讨论,50、60年代古董k金扣,确实没有见过贵金属印记。 |
