Dear Friends of Timestation and Glashütte Original,
We were very delighted to hear the fantastic news about the foundation of the new Chinese forum www.timestation.cn.
Congratulation to Jeffrey Mu and his team to the very successful start – we wish you all the best
and a lot of interesting discussions around the world of mechanical masterpieces.
We would like to express our special gratitude for providing an own Glashütte Original section at the Timestation forum.
Since we met Jeffrey for the first time at the Baselworld 2008, he is always very engaged providing a lot of background knowledge
about our manufactory and our masterpieces. Thank you very much for your competent support.
Based on a more than 160 year tradition with a lot of historical aspects e.g. hand-engraved balance-cock,
Glashütte three-quarter-plate, and screwed gold chatons our name „Glashütte Original“ stands for
high-quality mechanical watchmaking.
From smallest screws to most complicated watch movements, timepieces by Glashütte Original are manufactured
in the highest degree of production depth, with a great deal of work done by hand. This is not legend, but living, breathing “manu factum”.
It is a matter of course for us to share all that joy of German watchmaking. This is why we have created a transparent manufactory
building for you as interested guests and watch connoisseurs where we regularly offer guiding tours through this fascinating world.
Please do not miss the chance visiting our manufactory if you will ever be in Saxony/Germany.
Of course, you are also very welcome to visit our authorized partners, e.g. in Beijing, Shanghai or Hong Kong
and to experience exclusive masterpieces like the Senator edition with its unique Senator Chronometer,
the Pano and Sport models as well as the elegant models for the ladies.
