"This is a terrible story - a friend of mine left his Panerai in a travel case in a taxi in Geneva last night. It has been missing now for over 24 hrs.
What makes this story especially incredible - and SAD - is that it wasn't just any Panerai - it was a PAM 267 !! Yes, you read it correctly, perhaps the rarest of all Panerais with the famed Angelus movement, Marina Militare dial and modern 47mm case.
Those of you who know me will know this is not a hoax but a very sad story. The PAM 267 was number 5 of 6 and certainly easy to spot. It will be missing the box and **s. My friend contacted the cab driver who claimed it wasn't his taxi. A police report was filed in Geneva but my friend holds little hope that it will be returned.
As a result we are offering a reward to anyone who finds, or helps us find this incredibly rare and valuable watch. $10,000.00 in US currency.
